As human beings, we measure how well our lives are going by the success of our relationships/careers. Oftentimes these are areas we have zero control over. Yet, these experiences can greatly impact many areas of our lives. I am passionate about supporting people to explore these experiences from a place of compassion, gentleness and non-judgment. My area of skills are supporting people living with Autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioural disorders/concerns and emotional regulation. Including a wide array of supports for parents dealing with the busyness of life plus supports for parenting neurodivergent children & youths. When working with me, you set the pace and determine the direction where your life is headed next. Together we’ll explore ways to cope that feel meaningful and work towards your goals. Let’s find out what feels best for you and what your strengths are!

If you can’t find a time that works for you, please reach out by email at krystlem@simplylotus.ca and we will find a time to connect.

Psychotherapy is my second career, and that makes me stronger as a therapist. That’s because, in addition to my academic qualifications and clinical training, my own lived experiences as a daughter, a wife and mother, a student, an employee and an entrepreneur help me relate to my clients in so many meaningful ways. Clients relate to my sense of humour, empathy, and desire for growth as a person and as a therapist. And they value my ability to get to the root of the issue and expertise in both practical problem-solving and supporting clients’ growth. I enjoy working with individuals with ADHD. I am intrigued by the strengths and the challenges of this disorder. I also enjoy working with clients in a period of transition. While, I understand how frightening these times can be, I also see the tremendous opportunity for growth in these periods. You need to play an active role in setting the goals and direction of your therapy, because you are the expert on your own life. I will use tools and techniques to help you gain insight and to experience those “aha” moments that lead to increased self-awareness and positive change.
